The ROOTWELL direct-to-root feeder system has been engineered to enhance the tree’s natural ability to absorb air, water and nutrients for many years. A three in one system to promote healthier root systems. This is an affordable permanent system. A smart investment in promoting long-term tree health and growth.

ROOT STICK: This 5/8” x 10” product is commonly is used for plants and roses as well as for root maintenance trees and shrubs. It creates sweet spots in hard soils well beyond the planting pit. When used as a maintenance product for tree roots it is typically installed in a zig zag pattern (2’ to 3’ apart) at or near the drip line promoting extended root growth.

Direct Fertilization: Many tree care companies are using the ROOT STICK in conjunction with deep root feeding by simply pushing the stick into the hole created by the feeding probe which provides aeration to the root system increasing the effectiveness of the fertilization.

STANDARD 12”/ STANDARD 18”: (2” in Diameter- 12” or 18” in length). These products are commonly used at the time of planting smaller caliper trees (1” to 4”). Three Rootwell units are placed evenly at the outer edge of the planting pit. The Standard 12” is commonly used for shrubs and for harder soils where 18” in depth is difficult to attain for trees.

For established trees and shrubs the STANDARD 12” and 18” are ;used in the closest proximity where the tree roots exist. They can be installed with the use of an electric drill and auger (available through Rootwell).

PRO: The PRO is the Rootwell mighty giant 3” x 18” which provides maximum open surface area for air, water and nutrient movement through the soil. It is commonly used when transplanting larger trees, placed inside and outside the planting pit. It is also an excellent maintenance product for larger specimen trees.
