Now that the holidays are over, are you already thinking Spring?

Happy January! We hope that the New Year has filled you with hope and a desire to turn your landscape into the envy of the neighborhood.

Here at Rootwell Products Inc., we sell products that are revolutionary for plants, trees and shrubs, but we also provide this blog that offers free how tos, tips and tricks and all you can think of about information for you and your landscape. This blog was created to help you make your landscape into the envy of the neighborhood.

We are kicking off this new year and this new month with January gardening tips and tricks.

  • Mulch and Compost
Is there snow outside or are the temperatures really cold? One way to keep your plants and flowers alive is by mulching and compost. Do you still have that Christmas tree? Christmas trees make great compost after the holiday season.
  • Rootwells and Rootsticks
Like we said earlier, these products are truly revolutionary. The Rootwell and Rootstick are aeration tubes that are scientifically proven to enhance trees, shrubs and plants that they are installed around. By “enhance” we mean that Rootwells and Rootsticks will provide oxygen, water and nutrients for your trees and shrubs to be:

    • Stronger
    • Healthier
    • Have more mass
    • More likely to survive

Due to the trees being dormant in the winter months, as long as the ground has yet to freeze, right now is a great time to install these miracle workers.

  • Heavy Snow
If you have been hit with cold temperatures and lots of snow, make sure to brush the heavy snow off of the branches of your trees, bushes and shrubs. This will keep them strong through-out the winter.
  • Indoor Gardening<
Don’t be shy and fill your home with the smells of fresh herbs and plenty of plants and flowers. This month we will be providing lots of information on indoor gardening.

Make sure to come back throughout the week for more in-depth information about all of theses and more. We are so excited about this New Year and all it can bring.

What is your favorite plant to grow indoors? Are there any plants that are giving you a hard time? We would love to hear your thoughts.
