What can I plant in my garden in early summer?
Tomorrow marks the first day of summer and we couldn’t be more excited for it’s arrival. To celebrate summer finally arriving, we are sharing a list of 5 summer time vegetables to plant.
The reason why these vegetables get put into the summertime category is because they can only grow in a frost free environment. For most of these vegetables you can even plant in the last days of spring as long as the threat of frost is completely gone.
While each of these vegetables has it’s own growing requirements, Bonnie Plants recommends waiting until the weather is warm, somewhere in between 65 – 90 degrees).
